Coming in 2025
I had hoped to write my life story in this epistle. However, I am finding that it is a somewhat arduous task. Therefore I have toned it down to a series of essays about incidents in my life so there will be gaps, which may be filled as time goes on.
As I look back, I realize I have had a wonderful life. I was born during a war but never lacked food, clothing, or the necessities of life, even though we had occasional food parcels from relatives in Australia. I was able to earn a good education and have had a great career, and have been able to travel extensively and work overseas.
I married a wonderful lady who has uncomplainingly been dragged around the world by me and who has raised five wonderful children. They have chosen their path and careers and have overcome any obstacles. As a result, they have produced fourteen grandchildren.
We have made friends wherever we have stayed and are always welcomed back when we visit.
It’s not exactly in order and some events are repeated but . . .
